The Honda motorcycle turn signal switch is a manual switch so there's not any way to physically reset the switch without depressing it with your thumb. There's not any type of cancellation unit made that is able to push the button. The switch has two sets of double contacts with each set making and breaking for a particular side when the switch is moved. One contact pair closes and allows the turn signal circuit to feed the selected light. The other contact pair for that light opens and turns off the same side front running light filament (dual filament bulbs on the Honda). The running light will not come back on until the switch physically returns to signal off position. This circumstance applies only to the front signals since the rear do not contain dual filament bulbs.
