Proprietary Features:
This exclusive unit is built by Kriss for increasing the visibility of motorcycles to oncoming traffic by converting driving lights to operate at "two" power levels. This is especially important during nighttime riding when you need to increase recognition of your motorcycle without blinding oncoming drivers with excessively bright lights.
Our driving light unit will work with any driving lights up to and including 55 watts each for a total of 110 watts for the pair.
Low power is used for either daytime running lights or night running lights to dramatically increase front visibility for oncoming traffic.
High power is used for those dark nights on the highway. When the lights are on high power the applied voltage is the motorcycle electrical system voltage. We do not bump up the voltage in any manner because it would shorten the life of the bulbs.
Low power reduces the demand on the electrical system which is important on many motorcycles because of the limited size of the alternator or battery.
High power is selected when changing to high with the headlight high beam switch. This function can be controlled if you wish to keep the lights at low power
independent of the headlight high beam switch.
Does not require any mechanical changes to the bulbs or housings.
There's nothing extra to buy. All wire terminals, switch and connectors are included.
Our Driving Light unit doesn't generate any heat so you can expect a long life.
Lamp life is not reduced.
Our driving light unit will work with any driving light design up to 55 watts each.
